Toy Story 2Edit
Jessie first appears after Al McWhiggin steals Woody and takes him to his hotel. After Woody attempts to escape the room, Bullseye, Jessie, and The Prospector are overjoyed to see him, believing that with Woody, they will be sent to toy museum in Japan. However, when Woody is informed of this, he reveals he still has an owner named Andy. After hearing this, Jessie becomes hostile towards Woody. Her animosity towards him only grows when he accuses her turning on the television that woke up Al and prevented Woody from reaching his arm, which had been ripped off.
After Woody is fixed, Jessie angrily tells him to leave. However, the Prospector asks Woody to comfort Jessie, who has had some hardships in life. Jessie informs Woody that he had an owner named Emily, who was Jessie's whole world until she got older and found other things to do, all but forgetting Jessie. One day, Emily took Jessie away and donated her to a local charity. After hearing this, as well as the Prospector reminding him that one day, Andy will also grow up, Woody decides to remain with the gang, much to Jessie's happiness.
However, the other members of Andy's toys burst in to free Woody. After initially refusing to return, Woody soon accepts that he is a toy and asks the gang to come with him to Andy's. However, the Prospector sabotages their attempts to leave, leading to a chase that leads into the airport, where the Prospector is defeated. However, Jessie is boarded onto a plane, forcing Woody and Buzz to rescue her. They later return to Andy's house, and Andy believes that his mom got Jessie and Bullseye. It is also implied that Jessie has gained feelings for Buzz.
